I have been taking care of dogs practically since I was a kid. Even when it was my neighbor's or friend's pets I treated them as if they were mine. When I am playing with a dog I try to think as they do so they can see me as a friend rather than just another human. I truly belive I have a special connection with dogs, as I understand them and they understand me.
