I got my first dog in 2003, a German shepherd mix, at the age of 16. I had her for 9.5 years when I had to say goodbye due to the awful cancer bug. shortly after she passed I got my second dog in September of 2012, a German shepherd named Rhiya. She is high energy, nervous, and has some reactivity issues that we have managed to make a LOT of progress on a with constant consistent training schedule that we started in September of 2015. Rhiya has completed the AKC Star Puppy course, Basic K9 obedience, and achieved her Bachelors and Masters degrees in the C.L.A.S.S. (Canine Life And Social Skills) program. in December of 2013 i got a second German shepherd named Dallas, who has also achieved the same training certificates as Rhiya has. Dallas also passed his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) class and certification in the summer of 2014. In February of 2015 when my finance moved in with his Lab, Samantha, i gained another fur-child who has been a blessed addition to the family. While Rhiya and Dallas are best buds. Samantha and Rhiya are more like room mates, co-habitating peacefully, but they all function well under the same roof. Due to my reactive dog, Rhiya, having trouble accepting other dogs, i cannot provide pet sitting or doggy daycare, but i can come to your house and take your dog(s) on walks or play with them for a half hour while you're at work. volunteered as a dog trainer at my local humane society for a little over a year before i graduated from ISU with a BA in CIS in December of 2014, Since graduating I've been working full time as a business analyst at farm bureau but my TRUE passion lies with helping dogs and their humans. I am dedicated to continued training help with all dogs, and i have learned how to overcome many challenges and obstacles that i have encountered in the past several years.
