Pet care experience
I have shared a love with animals for as long as I can remember. I love them and they love me. I have a firm belief that animals can sense your energy, and that it reflects well upon people when animals gravitate towards them. I also have a firm belief that animals love people who walk and feed them. Who really knows, but damn it feels good when you’re the first person the dog runs to when the family comes home. Being the pet sitter of my friends and family, that flex usually goes to me (: I would love to take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood or go in an adventure to the nearest hiking spot. I started on Rover when I was working part time and needed to supplement my income, however I remain on Rover because I love animals and it adds a brightness to my day, as well as gives me cause to get out of the house and move around. I maintain an extremely flexible schedule, so I can make any walking times work to accommodate you and your sweet pups needs. I am new to the San Diego city area and am hoping to build my regular clientele back up.

I am happy to come to you before my initial visit to meet you and your pet(s), discuss all of your care needs, if there is any ongoing training you need me to reinforce, and be shown where everything is (food, leashes, doggy bags, trash). If your schedule does not permit a meet & greet, I also work well off of written instructions.. Pets are always given the utmost love and attention when I visit. Your pets are my favorite clients. I prefer not to take other people's pets off leash just because you never know, and I tend to keep my distance from other walkers and dogs by crossing the street or standing off to the side when I see them coming. I just don't like to take the risks with other people's pets.

Please share with me temperament (do they pull, are they excitable, do they get along with other dogs, are they timid with people, etc?) I can handle it all, I just like to know before I meet a dog so I can have the best control of every situation we find ourselves in. I have experience with small sweet dogs and I also have experience with 1 year old German Shepherds who don't like other dogs. Other care needs I may need depending on the type of visit: Where food is kept and how many times a day they are fed Where leashes are kept Expectation for going out (do they poop on every walk, etc) Where your trash can for doggie waste disposal can be found How to access premises
A typical day
I love to explore! For walks, I love to let the dog pull me to where they want to go, as they usually know the best spots. If you know of any nearby trails or cool vistas to check out when I care for your pets, please share with me! For regular clients, I will sometimes do pre-approved field trips to nearby favorite spots like Calaveras.

Availability
I work from home running an online business, and my schedule is up to me. I enjoy rover because the walks and visits get me away from the desk and out of my house. Extremely flexible, and I'll do my best to fit you in as long as it doesn't overlap with another dog! I prefer not to work weekends unless it is an emergency / special request from regular clients.
