Pet care experience
I grew up having dogs my whole life, as well as being around family and friends who also have dogs. I've taken care of many different types of dogs of varying sizes: black labs, golden retrievers, Newfoundlands, German shepherds, and French bulldogs, just to name a few. I am very active and love the outdoors so I would definitely have a lot of fun playing with your dog! I also can do basics such as feed, groom and even bathe your dog. I'm good with multiple dogs at the same time and other pets as well. I love dogs and don't get the chance to be around them much in college so I figured this would be a good way for me to be around animals I love and help owners take care of their pets to the fullest.

Jorden was great! Our walker had an emergency and we needed some help in 2 hours. Not only did she reply right away but she was able to walk our dog and arrived right on time to start the walk one minute early. We got pictures and a Rover card. Our dog was in great hands. Great experience all around. Highly recommend her and will be sure to reach out to her again!
Jorden responded promptly to our request. On the day of visit she took really good care of our 9 month old puppy. She shared pictures and let us know how our cutie was doing.
If there's one thing Jorden Callaghan Thornton knows, it's dogs. From humble beginnings in Culloden, WV, she grew up with a heart of gold yearning to care for all the dogs in the world. When she realized she couldn't accomplish that feat, she settled in a little place called Pittsburgh, where she is known by the locals of Troy Hill for being a loving and caring person (and dog sitter). If you want A+ dog care, look no further.
Jorden is an extremely reliable and hardworking girl in regard to everything she does. She is respectful, polite, and holds herself to a high expectation to do her work properly. She has taken care of my dogs (I have a black lab and a mutt) on numerous occasions when I have been out of town and every time I come home they are happy from all the attention she gives them and all the time she spends playing with them. Love her and so do my dogs!

I would like to know if your dog likes to be around other dogs or not just so I can try to facilitate them possibly meeting new dogs on walks, etc. I would also like to know if your dog has any allergies. I had a dog that had a ton so I know how we dealt with ours and it can help me help your dog! I don't have breed preferences I grew up having all rescue dogs so they were sometimes mutts but the majority of my life I had a black lab who was sweet and calms as can be and a golden retriever/lab mix who had a ton of energy so I can deal with dogs on all parts of the spectrum.
A typical day
I love exploring new places and parks with lots of trees! We can do walks around the neighborhood or go exploring somewhere completely different. If we do this I'll be sure to clean them off before delivering them back home!
