Pet care experience
I have taken care of other people's pets for over 10 years and worked as a vet tech at a zoo the summer of 2022, along with having had a variety of pets my entire life! I have veterinary experience including emergency rescue procedures, medication administration, and animal restraint for procedures/support. I am well versed in animal behavior and take special care to truly listen to the animals I work with---they can tell you a lot without saying anything! I am planning on becoming an animal chiropractor in the future. I love animals and enjoy working with them! I like to go outside and play with them, take them on walks in my quiet neighborhood, go to the dog park (if appropriate), cuddle up, and spend time with them. I am attentive, consistent, and caring.

We feel so lucky to have found Jordan to watch our new puppy, Marley! Jordan has been sweet and caring of both our needs and our puppy’s needs. She demonstrates a good understanding of puppy behaviors and developmental needs. Jordan always paid close attention to our instructions and always had a sweet and positive manner. Marley was always ecstatic to have time with Jordan and sad to see her leave!

I provide potty breaks multiple times a day for any pet and food/medications as instructed. I provide multiple walks/exercise opportunities per day as well, along with play, pets, and attention. When it comes to exercise for your pet, I go off of what your pet enjoys/needs---walks, runs, hikes, swimming, playing, etc! At your home, I will make sure to give your pet attention more than just a quick stop in! I will provide care (food, potty, exercise) and play with your pet if amenable. I will follow your preferences on crating your dog when I leave (whether they are crated or not). **NOT AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT** In my home, your pet will be joined by my own dog, a 9yo Cocker Spaniel who is great with other animals! Your pet will be housed inside my home (crated or uncrated depending on your preference for your pet). I have a large, unfenced yard with the possiblility for a supervised tie-out style play session. I let my dog off-leash in my yard, but I will follow your preferences for your pet. I also have access to the local, fenced-in dog park if that would make you more comfortable! Your pet will receive exceptional care and attention while here and lots of love from me! Let me know your preferences for transporting your dog (ie. going in my car to go to the dog park) and if you would like them to remain at my house the full time or if I can take them places (ie. the dog park, a hike, etc.). I am good with puppies and dogs in training and will follow your instructions to help establish behaviors and reinforce commands. Let me know what your pet needs and I can provide it for your puppy/in-training dog!

Availability
I am attending school at Northern Michigan University, and have several classes per day. I have multiple breaks throughout my days and have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I prefer to spend much of my day outside, so if your pet likes to be in the great outdoors I'm all about it!
