Pet care experience
I've always been about animals for their simple, yet rich lives and personalities. My own service dog "Shadow" knows me inside and out the same as I understand him. It's that bond that allow him to be my mental watchdog. Household pets deserve to be treated in the same loving, yet authoritative way that insures their safety while retaining dignity and respect. It would be a pleasure to bring the same elements that made Shadow an anxiety-warding guardian to your own canine partner, even if our time is comparably brief. Experience comes from working with professional trainers and years of caring for a service dog. I always ask the important questions and meet your canine friend beforehand. This insures I know each canine's quirks. Requests for specific training considerations will be honored when watching or walking your fine friend. I'm also physically fit, so he/she won't get away if household-manners are still being trained. (Firm, but not gentle mind you.)

No particular breed preferences. For walks, it really depends on the dog's size and energy level. Some smaller dogs simply need a leisure trot, while others are more a swift run. I'd also want to know a dog's past behavior around other dogs and parent human's comfort regarding interaction. Some people love allowing their dog to meet other canines, while others want plenty of distance kept from other dogs or strangers. This is one of several factors I can readily honor.
A typical day
Mapping a route is straightforward pre-planning. Your dog will receive undivided attention during walks or short-term visits. The activities themselves depend on your dog's personality. Just like people, no two canines are exactly alike. Some could run a marathon with energy to spare or live to follow scent trails. Others are simple buddy personalities enjoying long strokes across the back. It really depends on each case.
