I have cared for pets of various kinds, including dogs and cats, for over 15 years. I have experience with both young, senior, and giant breeds such as Saint Bernards and Mastiffs. I can administer non-injection medications and serve fresh food or water immediately before and/or after walks or during drop-in visits. I am willing to work on a flexible basis with clients to meet their needs. Bathing during visits is available for a nominal fee. Cats are more than welcome! I have a senior puggle named Gracie, a princess of a muted calico named Bast, and an aptly named traditional calico named Riot (she's always on an adventure). As a teenager, I spent evenings and weekends volunteering for my local animal shelter. I grew up in a verifiable zoo that included, at any given time, dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, ferrets, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Pets were always part of the family. I am available Tue-Fri from 7am to 11am. I will sometimes be available on Saturdays for the full day (just check my calendar or shoot me a message!), and on Sundays I am available any time after 3pm. I am a full-time paralegal by day. I am willing to cover walks sporadically, regularly, or on occasion such as a summer vacation (in which case I can also administer food, water, and non-injection medication immediately before and/or after walks or during drop-in visits). If your pet requires other services, please feel free to contact me as I am willing to work for you and your pet's benefit. I do not board at this time, as I have a sick, grumpy senior dog that I love very much. However, I can provide in-home drop-in care services and walks.
