Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog owner and dog sitter with over 11 years worth of experience. I have fostered and owned dogs my entire life and have dealt with a variety of doggy personalities and needs. I believe all dogs should have access to a second home where they are loved and cared for. I also believe that dog owners deserve to have someone they can count on to take immaculate care of there beloved dogs and provide peace of mind when they can’t be available and I pride myself on being that person. 👍🏼

I am so happy to be writing this recommendation for Jordan. He is the most amazing dog Dad to Ray, who I am lucky enough to petsit from time to time, and they are both such a joy to know and spend time with. Jordan is responsible, caring and so incredibly amazing with dogs. He goes out of his way to learn and understand how to support doggies to be able to learn, play and be safe. His kind and loving nature make me feel 100% certain that he would be the best carer for anybody's dog because he simply understand that they are family. He has done such an amazing job with Ray, he is the best behaved dog I have ever looked after, just an incredibly sweet and happy dog. I cannot say enough good things about him, you really have a gem of a person here and an incredible pet caregiver.
I have known Jordan, a friend and neighbour, for the last 2 years and I have seen first hand the amazing relationship that he has created with his dog Ray, a lovely little dachshund, and how much care and love he shows him. Ray (his dog) is just the healthiest happiest dog, due to the way that Jordan takes him out for regular exercise, feels him well and that he is always cared for. Jordan is a very responsible dog caregiver, taking great care in training his dog to be well behaved, socialised and most importantly, knowing he is loved.
I’ve known Jordan since he was a little boy, he’s always been around animals & has shown great respect & kindness to them. He had his own little dog now & he’s completely besotted by him. He makes sure he gets good nutrition & the exercise he needs, the dog is really in good hands. I would have no hesitation in letting Jordan look after any of my animals. He’s very kind & very responsible & sensible.
Jordan is a wonderful and caring human. Devoted dog parent and all round great person. Takes responsibility very seriously and has a real ‘go the extra mile’ personality. Would feel completely confident leaving my pet in his care.

How I care for dogs in my home will depend on the dog and any specific needs he/she may have. All animals in my home are loved adored and more importantly respected, my home is 100% dog friendly and dog safe. I am lucky enough to be a stones throw (2 min walk) from Brockwell park so depending on the length of time I am caring for a dog he or she will have a minimum of 1 walk in Brockwell and a maximum of 2 walks in Brockwell. I have access to a gated/fenced outdoor space for potty breaks. All animals in my care are not left unattended. For dogs spending the day or overnight with me we will have a 45 min interactive playtime with either a ball, snuffle mat, rubber toy or pullyrope etc, this will enable the dog to bond with myself as well as use their brain and more importantly have fun! Playtime is really important for a dogs wellbeing and it’s something I provide consistently for all dogs in my care.

A typical day
As mentioned above Brockwell Park is my local park where I frequent with the dogs that I care for. However on the weekends and some weekdays I like to take the dogs to Streatham Common, Wimbledon Common and Richmond for a change of scene. I know these parks/commons very well and I know all dogs enjoy them very very much! I also believe that interactive play time it is essential every day and we play a variety of games with different toys to not only build A stronger bond and trust between me and the dog but also to promote well-being for the dogs that I care for.

I’m am available for petcare 7 days a week as I work for myself as a freelance hairstylist/dog sitter. I am very lucky with the Rover app to be able to combine my two biggest passions in life. My diary is extremely flexible and I will always make time to look after our furry friends 😊
