Pet care experience
I’m Jordan and I’ve always loved caring for animals! My family has always had many dogs around as well as horses, cats, you name it! I’ve been an equestrian for 25 years, I owned multiple horses from the age of 12, so I am no stranger to hard work and responsibility! My corgi, Scout, is six years old and he’s the light of my life. I have spent many years housesitting and caring for many of my family and friend’s dogs and cats and I treat them with the same love I show my own dog because I care about doing a great job and bonding with pets so they feel comfortable. I love meeting all sorts of dogs on walks and I enjoy gently speaking to them to earn their trust.

I have one very friendly and well behaved corgi who is welcoming and loves making new friends. I do not have a fenced in yard, so I walk my dog several times daily for exercise. I have my own car for transportation.

Do they have any allergies or triggers to avoid? Does your dog love chasing squirrels, have a favorite toy or maybe not enjoy cuddling? All that info will help me bond with your fur baby!
A typical day
I live near a grassy field and a huge, quiet cemetery with paved pathways that is great for walks and exploring. I also enjoy walking my dog around IX Art Park, the Downtown mall and Riverview Park to name a few. We hike all the time around Boar’s Head and the Rivanna Greenbelt Trail as well as the Darden Towe area.

Availability
I work full time at UVA, from 9-5 pm Monday through Friday. I’m looking for additional part time work, mostly in the evenings on weekdays and weekends that I’m available. I live in the North Downtown area of Charlottesville.
