I have had a husky and two golden retrievers at different times in my life. I currently have a Sharpei mix that I found on the street. I could not find the owner so I ended up keeping him. I am strong so I can handle large dogs that are high spirited and I walk at a brisk pace and enjoy breaking a sweat while walking. I see it as healthy exercise. I will of course take it slow if that's what the dog needs. I truly enjoy watching dogs sniff around and pee on things ha-ha. I always pick up after the dog. I have taken care of all kinds of dogs before. From little wiener dogs to giant German Sheppard and great Danes. I will treat your dog the way it need's to be treated. Is it shy and timid? I'll be gentle and calm. I have had experience with dogs that have had abuse in their past. Is the dog full of energy and loves to play? Then I will match that spirit! I have taken care of dogs that have had special dietary needs. I will pay close attention to make sure they get any supplements or pills or even shots at meal times. I can take care of one dog at a time or 7! The more the merrier. I will follow any rules that you give me on handling the dog. I would hate to give the dog any habits that you do not want. I will become your dog's friend, no doubt about it. I truly believe that all dogs are the responsibility of humans. They have been by our side through out human history protecting us, working for us and loving us. They deserve our love and should be treated right.
