Hello, I'm Jordan. I am a stay at home mom to my 2 human children ages 7 and 5. We also have our 1 year old Old English Sheepdog. He was adopted from rescue at 9 weeks and has helped us in fostering and dogsitting since day. He has had extensive obedience training and knows how to play with dogs all sizes safely. He also has never met a stranger and due to the constant flow of Rover dogs and foster dogs our home is not his territory. He will quietly wait in his crate for your dog to have the opportunity to sniff him before they get to play together. I prefer to do an in home meet and greet with all of my first time clients so that you can come see exactly where your pet will stay and feel as comfortable as possible, but also to allow me to see that we are a good fit for you as well. Once our dogs have met and we all feel comfortable, we will be your safe place for your pets. Being a stay at home mom has allowed me to follow my passion of taking care of animals. I am gone for 30 minutes in the morning for school drop off and an hour in the afternoon for pick ups. Other than that I quick grocery run and home while I have daycare or boarders. Your dog is never left alone unsupervised with our dog Trebek. He is happily crated when I leave the home and at night. Before being a stay at home mom with a passion for dog sitting I started working in my first pet store at 16. After college I went on to manage my own Petco store. There I was trained in all things from nutrition to bathing and grooming. I have experience in owning dogs, ferrets, rats, guinea pugs, bearded dragons, hermit crabs and even hand reared baby squirrels with wildlife rescue. Animals are where my heart has always been and always will be. As a family we have fostered dogs for 2 years and we are on our 3rd year as Rover sitters. We love every minute of it. Your dog will be safe and very entertained between our dog, my kids, husband and myself. We have just over 1,700 Sq ft to share in our home with a large fenced in yard at the end of a cul de sac. Chasing our dog around the yard is everyone favorite past time :) I only book 1 boarding or daycare client per day unless the dogs are repeat clients and BOTH pet parents are happy to overlap. We are also early risers so early drop offs before your work schedule are 100% ok here. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Jordan and family I have a very flexible schedule with being a stay at home mom. I am happy to do last minute drop ins especially for my repeat clients. After your first booking with me, I am able to accommodate most any drop in. Since I don't double book, if you have a big vacation please try to book it early so that I can keep a spot clear for your trip! I have a large fenced in yard that the dogs love running around in but we do live in vegas so in the summer that has to be limited. They are happy to run wrestl and play inside. I also try to limit dog walks during the heat of the day during summer. For a drop in in your home I always take the pet parents lead. If you want a walk we walk, if you want 30 minutes of fetch we will play fetch. I will also provide any food water or medications necessary. Drop ins are all about what your dog and you need. Sometimes a dog wants to sit on my lap the whole 30 minutes and be scratched if that's ok with mom it's perfectly OK with me.
