Growing up, I have always been around dogs! My first dog was a cocker spainel. When she passed away, my parents let me get my own puppy. I grew up with two miniature dachshunds and a Weimaraner. Now, my husband and I have a small dog who we rescued from CCAC one year ago! Her name is Emory and she is simply the sweetest. I would love to host your dog for you while you're away. I love animals and am no stranger to the work required for the animals we love! My husband and I work as a team to be sure your dog has the best time while you are away! About this sitter: I'm currently in the dental profession! Watching your dog is not just a job to me, but a break from the crazy business life throws out there, a way to de-stress, and most importantly, an opportunity for me to build a relationship with your pet! However, please talk to me about my schedule, as I am currently in a transition period in my career. If you are looking for someone to be home at all hours, certain days I may not be able to accomplish that. I want to ensure we are on the same page and that it works for everyone! Why I love dog sitting I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I truly believe they are man's best friend, and I will do my absolute best to be sure your pooch has a wonderful vacation while you enjoy yours! About my yard I have a rather large yard with woods behind a grassy area. There is plenty of room to sniff around and do business, and it is much bigger than a kennel would have. However, it's not fenced in. On the upside, there is a lovely shaded road in my neighborhood that I'm sure your dog would enjoy if he/she needs some serious energy expenditure! My experience administering medication: I am currently in the dental profession and know a thing or two about medications and how to administer them. I also have experience with diabetic animals as well as medically challenged animals.
