I worked 10 years as an emergency vet tech and often specialize in dogs that have medical needs. I can easily give pills and injections and am very familiar with most canine health issues and their treatment. Our house is spacious and kind of like an indoor dog park at times, but we can offer quiet areas to those that don't want to play as well. Feeding is always separate for safety and dogs are not left together when unattended unless they are frequent boarders with a long history of docile behavior during play. Pet safety is my priority. I am also a licensed peace officer in Texas so your home will be extra secure if I do a home visit. My dog, Roux, loves to make new friends and play with those who board at our house. I work from home most of the time, so I have a flexible schedule for home visits/walks or lots of one on one for boarders. We play, wrestle, and hang out all day at our house with plenty of outdoor time during cooler parts of the day around the fenced in pool area and wide open spaces indoors for the hottest parts of the day.
