Dogs have always been such a big part of my life that it always seemed natural that I would end up working with them some day! They’re sweet, loving, and adorable—what’s there not to love? They are also always there for us when we need them. I think that’s what inspired me to become a dog sitter. I believe dogs deserve as much love and care as humanly possible, so it’s my job to make sure they get it! I’ve been lucky to have grown up with animals all throughout my life—dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, etc. Gave me plenty of time to figure out each one of their individual personalities. I’ve also been a dog walker for 2 years, which has opened me up to becoming a pet sitter. It was a lot of fun, so I’m glad to be taking the next step. I learned so much as a walker, and am so excited to learn even more as a sitter. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick. Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buds in no time. When your pooch is under my stay, I make sure to keep you in the loop on everything. From meal prep to exercise times, I am happy to make sure that you know that your pup is in good hands! Detailed daily updates are always on the menu, and those will certainly include some accompanying pics so you can see just how much fun we’re having together.
