All species pet care

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Jordan and I've been passionate towards all animals my entire life and have experience with a variety of different species. I've worked as an animal care intern at a wildlife rehab and as a kennel technician where my primary duties were to work closely with veterinary staff to provide care for animals of all shapes and sizes. This experience plus a life long history with animals has allowed me to recognize each pet's individual personalities so that I may tailor my care to fit their exact needs. My goal is to treat your pets with respect and warmth in order to ensure their happiness while you’re away. I'm sensitive, flexible and empathetic to the individual needs of your pet so that their time apart from you is happy and stress free. I'm communicative and open so that you can rest assured knowing how much fun your pet is having under my care. As an pet parent of many different species myself, I understand the dedication and love you have for your pets and I understand the desire for an accountable, kind caregiver. I am also able to accommodate any special requests, such as if you would prefer your dog be crated during certain times, if your pet needs medications administered during the day and much more. Additionally, I have experience with invertebrates, reptiles, birds, small mammals, dogs and cats. I’m currently a stay at home mom to two amazing kiddos, so I will have plenty of time to give your pets the love and attention they need and deserve. I live on half an acre of land with a massive fenced in backyard that will give your babies plenty of space to run around and explore. Additionally, I live in a large 3,200 sq ft home with three living spaces and plenty of bedrooms that can accommodate any pet's preferences. If I’m going to your home, I will be respectful and courteous to any rules and maintain the standard of care you treat your animals with.

Beware... my 9 YO French bulldog who was in the care of Jordon was found at a shelter while I was overseas. NOT GOOD. I was across the world when I received a phone call from the city of Tyler animal shelter. They found my dog around noon in a random yard nowhere near where she was staying, overheated and had difficulty breathing in the Texas 105 degree summer. She happened to be microchipped but didn't have a collar on. I was devistated and tried to call her multiple times and got no response. So I message Jordon asking what had happened. She brought up that Coco may have gotten out through a hole in their fence that they hadn't fixed (even though I specifically asked about whether her fence was fully enclosed before staying) or that her children occasionally disobey her by letting dogs out when they shouldn't. She quickly messaged me to tell the shelter that she would pick her up. Given that she was not responsible enough to care for my dog initially, and her assumption that I'd let her take coco after losing her the first time, I simply could not trust her to continue to watch her. I quickly coordinated with my boyfriend who was back in town to pick her up from the animal shelter the next morning. Jordon had also agreed to leave Coco's belongings outside in a secure place for my bf to pick up in the morning. When he went to pick up Coco's belongings up from Jordon, he said her stuff was not outside and she hadn't picked up the call and took her a while to find out. Then when she finally came out, she was yelling at other dogs staying at her house "shut the (insert word) up or you'll wake up my kid". In addition, the address listed on Rover was not accurate. At the time of drop off, my boyfriend went to the address listed only to find an upset neighbor with unwanted visitors. Overall, it was a very stressful experience and would not recommend hiring Jordon.

Porter was very taken care of! He loved being in their home. They took pictures throughout his stay. We will be using them again.

Jordan has been super amazing! Bhalu is always happy to go there. He starts wagging his tail the moment I pull into her driveway. Jordan always keeps me updated with photos and videos. I have had a lot going on and she’s always accommodating my last minute requests. Will definitely always choose Jordan as the person to look after my little baby ❤️

Information Jordan C. would like to know about your pet

1. Is he/she comfortable with other dogs? 2. Is your dog spayed or neutered? 3. How would you describe your dog's personality and attitude? What makes him/her unique? 4. Are there any specific diet and exercise regimens I should stick to? 5. Is your dog on any particular schedule so that I may maintain consistency with the life style he/she is accustomed to? 6. Any medical issues I should be aware of? I can provide basic medical care with ease. 7. Any information regarding your dog that I should keep in mind? 8. Are there any special requests that you have regarding my care? 9. Any past history of aggression? Or any relevant information regarding their history, such as instances of abuse or injury. 10. Any strong predatory instincts? My yard is large enough for your dogs and my chickens and ducks, however I am more than happy to put my flock away if it’s too tempting. 11. How is your dog around cats? Any aggression? 12. How is your dog’s temperament around children?

A typical day

1. Visits to the local dog park, given that your dog is up to date on his/her vaccines and is either spayed or neutered. Safety is my first priority! 2. Fun strolls around the local and family friendly park just minutes away from my home. 3. Constant companionship from me and my three friendly, spoiled and lovable dogs. I'll try to not let your pup get TOO spoiled under my care...but I can't make any promises! 3. I live in a spacious five bedroom home where your dog will have endless choices of entertainment or relaxation: they can choose a toy from the bottomless basket of ropes, squeakies and balls or romp around with my dogs in my 1/2 acre back yard. Maybe perhaps after a long day, your pup would rather relax and curl up next to me for countless belly rubs on a pile of pillows and soft blankets in either the media room or den. If alone time is what’s needed, I have a sitting room with a couch with their name on it. 4. Basic grooming, such as brushing and bathing (if requested). 5. Any additional requests. I am very accommodating and very flexible. You and your pet comes first! 6. Most importantly: unconditional love. Your dog will be treated like family under my care.
