An animal lover since birth! <3

Pet care experience

I've been taking care of animals since I was 10, and am often asked to pet sit and care for the pets of others, as I have been known for my genuine and passionate love for animals ever since I was a kid. I've taken care of all kinds of animals, and honestly enjoy doing it.

Highly recommend Jordan. She was responsive and sent updates often. Neighbors let us know she was quiet/respectful and spent lots of time with our pup outside. Came back from our trip and the house was clean and dog was freshly brushed. Will use again!

Flexible, Capable, Responsible, Committed to the Job & to my Dog. After meeting Jordan felt she can handle any type dog, no matter the size, so I knew she could certainly handle Desmond, my Jack Russell. I could just relax & leave him in her capable hands while I was gone. And when I returned she reported in on how calmly Desmond handled all their Adventures/Walks. Which I appreciated knowing since it was something I was concerned about. Would highly recommend her for house sitting your dog or cat.

I highly recommend Jordan to other pet owners! My dog, Kahlo, can definitely be a struggle sometimes, but Jordan formed a connection with him so quickly and was able to handle my dog without a problem! I was really impressed by the love and attention Jordan gave my dog as if he were family.

We have relied on Jordan numerous times to care for our cat while we are away for long weekends and family vacations. Jordan is an empathetic soul who clearly cares deeply about animals and all living creatures. She is very respectful, responsive, and responsible. I felt she cared for our cat as if he was her own.

I care for pets by investing my time and attention. Keeping a watchful eye, and being attentive to their needs. I understand that caring for a pet is a commitment, although this kind of work is not difficult for me since it's something that I enjoy and have extensive experience in! Each pet is also different and unique in their own way (similar to humans), so I understand that, depending on the animal I'm dealing with, their individual needs will differ! In this sense, I adapt accordingly to each unique requirement.

Information Jordan C. would like to know about your pet

The most important factors I should know about your pet are: - Do they take any medication? - Do they have any underlying medical issues? - Do they have any behaviors that are out of the ordinary? - Anything else that you, as the owner, feel I should know (you know best!). Regardless, I am familiar with caring for pets of all different breeds, ages, sizes, and walks of life, so whatever your pets needs may be - I'm confident I can meet them!

A typical day

This depends on the animal! The attitude of each pet varies as greatly as human personalities do. Some pets prefer to play more, while others prefer to be left alone for most of the day. Some will convey a signal when they feel energized and ready to interact and receive attention, as well as conveying a signal when they're done playing/interacting and ready to rest. The level of interaction throughout the day usually fluctuates based on many different factors. I'm always willing to play and interact with pets while on the job, whether it be with toys, going on hikes, spending additional time outdoors, or simply spending time in close proximity so they don't feel alone. Regardless though, the pet is usually able to convey these needs in some way, regardless of how subtle it may be. The first step is simply recognizing how they communicate this and paying attention to these signals!
