I love all breeds of dogs and have years of experience with obedience training and dog sitting. I also have extensive experience in caring for different animals, like cats and horses. My horse Charlie is boarded at a riding facility for which I have worked for well over a year, taking care of the horses, dogs, and cats at the barn. I am passionate about what I do and would love the opportunity to meet your animals. I take dog safety very seriously when caring for your pet. The phone number for the Rover Emergency Team is saved in my cell phone, along with phone numbers for several local vets. I also have experience caring for older dogs, many with health problems or special needs. I can administer oral medication, and am prepared to care for your unique canine. A few years ago, I owned a Golden Retriever mix that had a severe thyroid issue, as well as arthritis. I have also owned a blind and deaf Greyhound mix, so I have a lot of experience with dogs with special needs. For several years, I watched my neighbor's dog whenever they were away. She was an adorable Cocker Spaniel mix, and an absolute joy to care for. During each stay, she played with my dogs, enjoyed long walks through the neighborhood, visited the local dog parks, and (when necessary) received a bath before her Mom and Dad came home. I would be thrilled to take your dog to the dog park, walk your dog, take your dog out for frequent potty breaks, help train your dogs, bathe your dog, and fulfill any additional requests.
