Pet care experience
I have owned multiple pets my whole life including poodle mixes and shit zu. I have been board sitting and taking care of my neighbours pets both dogs and cats whenever they’re away on vacations and gotten great feedback which is why I started Rover.
Reviews
I asked Joo Shan to watch my domestic short hair kitty for a week while I was away and she did amazing and was very attentive with her. I could tell my cat did not feel lonely or neglected while I was away. Additionally, the litter box was cleaned, there was no mess around my apartment, the food was adequately filled and there was a full bowl of water for her. Joo Shan also sent me updates so I could still feel connected with my pet while I was on vacation.

I have plenty of space in my building to play fetch, walk and we have big and small dog parks for dogs of appropriate sizes. I am able to walk, feed, provide fulfilment as needed by the owners.

I have taken care of dogs of all life stages from puppy to senior and medical conditions including cancer and arthritis. Please let me know ahead of time what conditions your pet has before boarding/sitting. I do not have a preference for what type of dog as long as there are no behavioural issues that I should know of.
A typical day
I have taken care of highly active dogs such as Samoyed and Portuguese water dogs where I took them to big dog parks to play fetch and play with other dogs their size. I’m also able to take them further for a drive for hiking if owners allow that option.

Availability
I am currently working from home full time and I have flexible hours. I am able to keep an eye on 2-3 pets at the same time and making sure they have their needs met including potty, walking, feeding, playing and more. I live in an apartment complex that has great amenities such as a big and small dog park for dogs of all breeds, safe unfenced yard that I can take your dog (if trained) unleash for brief moments to play fetch.
