Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs and I hope, given the opportunity from Rover, that I will be able to showcase and really spread that love among the puppers and their owners so they can see my passion for themselves, they can see that I'm driven when it comes to their pets and that I take the care and health of each pet seriously. I am very organized and detail oriented when it comes to pet care. I try to stick to a little itinerary for the day/night so that if there is more than one client/dog, that it is easier to maintain schedules and not get overwhelmed. I am very available right now. At home a lot of the time during the week and I am looking for something that I know I could fall in love with doing and I believe this is it (Not much of a people person, but I have worked in the receptionist position for the last 4 years, so I know how to Human) I am new to the scene so I don't have many special skills besides my ability to make a dog fall in love with me?

Jonneka was the best sitter I have ever had.
She did a great job taking care of our pet! She truly treated him with loving kindness. He came back cleaner than he left! I know he enjoyed his time with her. She gave us frequent updates, and she was very patient with him even when he had some mild separation anxiety.
We were really satisfied with Jonneka as our dog sitter! She sent detailed updates and photos daily, walked our dog daily, and was willing to work with us when I made a mistake with booking and ended up needing to drop off our pet earlier than I booked for. Our dog came home tired and happy - so Id call that a success ☺️
Amazing sitter! We went for a vacation and left sparky with Jonneka and had no worries at all! We got daily updates and pictures along with Sparky having so much care and love.

I am very careful about the safety and protection of any pet in my home, including my own. I no longer live in an area with a fences yard, so that’s even more so a fact. I make sure to take my pup out on a leash every time we go outside, I make sure to follow each and every individual and detailed care plan that the owners leave and make sure to note anything that would stand out in those notes to help make the pup’s experience as close and comfy to home without being home.

If there are any medical conditions, things to look out for, personality traits to look out for, if they are friendly around other dogs, etc. Most definitely the care plan as well. A detailed care plan is the first thing I look for to tell me about a pup that I could potentially sit.
A typical day
Taking them for walks or outside time, watching tv, playing with toys or balls or whatever they bring to entertain them, etc. I have a park very close to my place that I like to take them toto stretch their legs and a big fenced in field behind my leasing office that I take them for a walkthrough. It leads through to other areas of the neighborhood for a chance at an extended walk.

I currently have free time, so I do have more time to dedicate toward the pups. I, also, have more time to dedicate toward focusing more on a scheduled routine when it comes to what each individual pet needs.
