I have grown up around dogs, and now own a nine year-old German Shepherd, Maya. I have several years of volunteer experience in a shelter and am now looking to get more dog-time in my life! I have a fairly flexible schedule and am generally able to spend plenty of time with the pups. I live by several dog parks and nice walking areas by the river, so I can ensure your dog will come back tired and happy! I’m always willing to work with any requests or needs you may have, so please do not hesitate to ask. Leaving your dog in someone else's care is always a bit stressful so I will do anything I can to ensure you and your dog are comfortable and satisfied! I am so excited to get started and look forward to meeting you all and your dogs!

Kelsey did drop-in visits for our cat Loius while we were out of town. Although he has an auto feeder, water fountain & 2 litter boxes (so self sufficient), he also craves attention and his 'nummy, nummy' (wet) food. He also loves to go outside (only allowed when we are home), so she did a great job keeping him in the house. I'm sure he tried his hardest, along with a lot of squeeling, to get out! She sent nightly updates along some awesome photos! It made our trip more enjoyable knowing he had nightly company.
Kelsey was absolutely fantastic, leaving detailed report cards and sending awesome pics. My boys loved her!
Kelsey was simply wonderful! She walked our 2 dogs on a daily basis, was flexible and took nice long walks. The dogs will miss her!!!

I like to discuss your dog's daily (specifically feeding) schedule, any medical/dietary needs and any another habits the dog may have, before the stay or visit. I also like to know the activities that your dog particularly enjoys or dislikes (walks, tennis ball time, dog parks, nothing, other people, etc).
A typical day
I like to think I'm pretty great at finding perfect dog walking spots. I'm big on finding parkways, riverwalks, golf courses or parks to walk through so it's not the same ol' sidewalk. If you'd like, I'm happy to bring my dog along so the dogs can interact a bit while still being in a controlled environment.

Availability
I work remotely so my schedule is very flexible. I'm able to provide morning, afternoon or evening vists and walks. For the most part, I can be very accomdating with last minute requests.
