Pet care experience
I've been watching dogs and homes for the last 20 years with great success and excellent results. I abide by house rules, attend to animals with passion and care, enjoy being outside and active year round, and animals just seem to love me. I'm flexible with dates, don't mind doing any dirty work, don't mind a cuddly or face-kissing pup, and am comfortable with all sizes of dogs at nearly any age except for very juvenile puppies--who need that extra round the clock care and attention, and I really value and honor that your pet is a part of your family and should be treated with love and respect. Moreover, I know that your home is a special place to you, and I will do my very best to keep it safe, secure, clean, and comfortable for your pet and your peace of mind. I love pets, but I love and honor people as well. And I want you to know that your desires for your home and pets are paramount for me in caregiving. Additionally, I speak some Spanish, so if your pet receives verbal commands Spanish, I've got you covered.

Jonathan is a great sitter! He is our first choice any time we go out of town!
Jonathan went above and beyond in taking care of my three dogs on short notice. I have two elderly dogs that require many medications, and a younger dog that has severe separation anxiety. He handled everything well, kept me up to date on their walks and how they were doing, and always stayed in contact. He even stayed an extra night when my flight back to CO got cancelled due to the snowstorm. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you, Jon.
Jonathan took great care of our dogs and home while we were away for 7 days. He even happily fed our son’s gecko! We returned to happy pups and a spotless home. We will definitely be contacting Jonathan for future sits!
Jonathan was amazing. He took care of our 6 month old puppy on pretty short notice. She’s very high energy but he was attentive and communicated with us throughout the whole visit. Definitely would book again.

I would like to know the age of an animal, health problems and activity level, and any medications that may need to be administered. I want to make sure that a pet is as engaged and stimulated as possible but never overtaxed or unsafe in activities. So medical needs, basic training levels, and behavior around other pets and people are all useful things to know.
A typical day
I enjoy hiking in the mountains, walks through the park, playing in the snow, and I don't mind snuggling with an affectionate four legged friend if they don’t like sleeping alone.

I work remotely and can be present throughout the day and evening for your pet. My job is done from a laptop, so as long as I have a strong WiFi connection, I can be onsite for your pet around the clock.
