I live alone with Skipper my Yorkshier Terrier who was 18 yrs old at the time and had a couple of medical conditions. The vet told me a month prior to Jonathan sitting for me that Skipper had lymphoma and did not have long to live. And I was about to enter the hospital for several days for heart surgery. To make my situation worse, Skipper didn't care for food much anymore due to his cancer and seemed to be fading fast. I wasn't sure if I would ever see Skipper alive again. It was a very stressful situation for me, and made it more difficult to choose a sitter. I needed someone who had experience with smaller animals. It was very hard for me to put my trust in anyone to take care of my Skipper. Never the less I had to choose someone, and that someone was Jonathan. Jonathan jnvited me to his house for the meet & greet where I found out some things that were not in his profile. It was a leap of faith for me but between he and his wife we came up with a plan which proved to be the best thing for Skipper. Turned out that when I got back home Skipper was eating good and having regular bowel movements again. Jonathan gave me regular updates on Skipper and even went out on his own and found food that Skipper would eat; healthy food. Jonathan was worth every penny. He even picked me up from the hospital and took me grocery shopping on the way home where I found Skipper eager to see me.
