I'm a 'big dog' dog person
Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life, I've been careing for them as soon as I could handle a leashed lab. Big dogs are my favorite but I've been friends with plenty of little dogs with big personalities. I was the go to guy in college when friends would get dogs and needed help, advice or just someone to give them a walk. I'm pretty active so exercising pups is an easy feat for me. I'm comfortable with puppies, pullers and dogs with other special needs; old dogs have a special place in my heart and giving them a little extra care and comfort is fine by me. Ive also tended goats and chickens but that's a bit outside the scope of this app!

Jonathan did a great job while I was away. Having 5 dogs on site, ranging from 55-95lbs varying in age from 1yr-4yrs old, and building a report with them couldn't have been easy. He went above and beyond in trying to accommodate their needs. My Shepsky broke his crate overnight and Jonathan attempted to piece one together. Ultimately it didn't work but it was a great effort, showed creativity and a desire to problem solve when the unexpected arose. Thanks Jonathan!
We highly recommend Jonathan. You can tell he is passionate about dogs and has a calming nature that makes dogs feel comfortable around him. Jonathan was very professional, he was communicative, punctual, and listened carefully to the instructions we gave him. Our dog has his quirks and Jonathan was willing to take on a bit of a challenge. We are very happy to have found him as a pet sitter.
Jonathan treats animals with respect - as family and friends- not as “pets” to entertain people. He will care for anyone’s dog as if it were his own and will keep it busy with play and interaction. Lots of walks, tummy rubs and hugs for sure. Dogs with sitters can get lonely and bored but when Jonathan cares for a dog, he will do his best to make sure the dog is engaged, safe and happy. He has a deep love for dogs and is an extremely caring and responsible individual.
Jon cares immensely about dogs and puts their happiness and safety above all else. He's lived with at least one dog most, if not all of his life, and was a great help to me when I needed a dog sitter for my ESA during a brief period where I had to work away from home.

Such as dietary needs, on/off leash recall and park behavior, how it interacts with other people and Animals it's not familiar with ECT. Then of course I get the owners information and establish how they want me to interact with their home and animals space. Lastly if I'm not familiar with a specific breed I'll do a little research on their general characteristics and dispositions.

I'm currently waiting for my next job to start so as of April 20 I'll be totally free for at least another full week. When I start my job I will be free on weekends all day and weekdays after 2:30.
