Pet care experience
My wife and I will treat your dog like family during their stay and we will follow any rules/guidance you leave for us so that the transition is as seamless as possible. It is important to us that everyone and every dog is happy and comfortable. We’re also big on providing pictures and updates so you know how your dog’s stay is going! When the weather is nice we usually take 2-3 long walks every day. Your dog would be the only dog we watch - we don’t book more than one client at a time. Due to COVID-19, our meet and greets are going to be held either in our backyard or in one of the open grass areas in our neighborhood. We will wear masks and ask that you do too since our daughter is too young to be vaccinated yet. Our dog Nora has never met another human or dog she didn’t like and will be a friendly companion for your dog during their stay. She doesn’t mind sharing food, attention or toys. We can and will make accommodations if your dog isn’t as keen on sharing - just let us know!

Jonathan and Lauren took care of our 11 year old dog in their house like she was their own. Several walks a day, a nice backyard space for her to hang outside when not on a walk, lots of love and daily pictures. She was comfortable from the get-go and for a dog that usually suffers with separation anxiety, she was happy and calm and excited to hang out with their sweet dog too. Jonathan and Lauren were fantastic. Teddy was treated like a family member (typically lounging on their laps or snuggling up in their bed). We received daily pictures and updates and were able to have a stress-free getaway knowing that he was well cared for. Will definitely use them again.

We are over the moon that Lauren and Jonathan were able to care for our pup. Extremely attentive and kind and easy to coordinate with! Their pup is a delight and they treated our pup like their own. We go on numerous walks and provide lots of supervised playtimes, if desired. We also have a small fenced-in yard that’s perfect for quick bathroom breaks. We pick up after each BM. We previously fostered dogs with an area rescue group and have no trouble adapting to your dog’s needs. We DO require that your dog be house trained - belly bands for boy dogs are fine.

We have some walking paths around our house. We’ll have some fun photo shoots so you can keep up with your dog’s adventures. We like to send a morning and evening update about how everything's going.

Availability
We both work full time but will receive a lunchtime walk/potty break in the yard for about 45 minutes. In total your dog would be alone for 4 hours in the morning and 2.5 in the afternoon. Besides that, we’re usually home most of the time.
