Pet care experience
Now offering pet training! A little bit about me; I have been fascinated by animals ever since I could remember. When I was 16 years old I began to work for a K9 board and train company and was employed there for about 2 years until I joined the Marine Corps. In the Marine Corps, I became a Military Working Dog Handler and got attached to my German Shepherd partner named Argo! Argo and I have been together since 2019 and have been through several field training exercises and even an overseas deployment in the South Africa area. Upon returning, Argo and I began to work law enforcement in Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton. Now I currently reside here in San Antonio permanently working as a Military Working Dog Trainer. I am trained in extensive pet care, including first aid and canine CPR. I now am available for boarding and training as well as private training lessons! Jonathan was really great! I liked that he was willing to come by for a meet and greet when I booked for boarding in a weeks time to do a meet and greet. Having to large breed dogs I was excited to find someone with working dog handler and training experience. My older dog was having anxiety and had a few accidents in the kennel along with some howling at night. He didn’t make a big deal about it even though I felt horrible about that. I highly recommend Jonathan!
Jonathan was great! This was my first time leaving my dog with someone, and was a little nervous about it. Jonathan was able to meet before, and gave me comfort that he would be ok. His home is very clean, and welcoming. I would definitely book with him again!

Jonathan was a great sitter. My dog Rambo is very anxious and has a lot of separation anxiety. Jonathan was very good and patient with Rambo. I appreciate all your help and patience with Rambo. Hopefully we can do future training and or boarding again. Thank you su much Jonathan!

I currently don’t have any dogs of my own living in my household. I have a gated backyard with plenty of space and kennels if needed! I have leashes, toys, waste bags, bowls, water buckets, etc.

A typical day
I typically am a morning bird so I wake up at around 7-8 AM and would begin my morning with a light jog and/or walk with your dog! There are pretty unique places around my residence with all kinds of sights and smells that I’m sure your dog would find exciting. I would probably work on basic obedience commands with your dog to keep them distracted and stimulated. A tired dog is a happy dog!
