I have had two years of experience working with dogs in a veterinary setting, including experience supervising doggy day care. I have also provided house-sitting services to several family, friends, and acquaintances over the years that have needed their pets looked after. As a wildlife rehabilitator and educator for five years, I walked wolves and trained raptors for educational presentations, fed orphaned baby squirrels, treated injured foxes, released skunks from traps, helped humming birds regain their flight, and helped many other animals in a variety of ways. Each of these animals required different foods, habitats, and enrichment opportunities so I know the importance of treating each patient as an individual. Each case required different methods and skills to achieve success and my experience in this area makes me a well-qualified candidate for caring for all types of pets. I assure you, I will not only be able to adjust to your pets needs, but I will have fun while doing so! Working with wildlife is my chosen profession and it often involves being away from home, so if you are looking for a pet sitter who will be able to maintain repetitive service throughout the year, you will be better served by someone else.
