Pet care experience
Hello Everyone! My name is Jonah and I have been pet sitting for over 10 years. I am a Vet Tech full time and pride myself on the care of animals. I have experience with small and big dogs alike. I also have a lot of experience with training and handling "less friendly" pups. No dog is too small/big for me ;) I am extremely active. I tend to go to parks/beaches with dogs if they can handle it. So rest assured, with me your pups will have fun! I started 10 years ago working then managing a doggy daycare in downtown Manhattan. I learned how to handle and train dogs there as well as basic care. After that I got into the veterinary field. I work with all types of animals with all different temperaments. I have plenty of experience with all kinds of medications and procedures. I recently lost my beloved Pitbull Dexter to lymphoma (after surgery and chemo treatments) but because of that I am now able to extend my support and care to another four legged friends! Big plus if your pup likes to cuddle as any dog is welcome in my bed!

Jonah is such an amazing dog sitter. My puppy loves to go to his place and play with his dogs. He sends me updates throughout the day and I can see my puppy’s progress with socializing. I love it
Jonah took such good care of my puppy Levi during his daycare stay. He was available when I needed last minute care for Levi, and was completely unfazed by Levi's special dietary requirements and food restrictions. Levi had such a fun time at Jonah's house, and I was able to go to work knowing that Levi was well cared for. We can't wait to use Jonah's daycare services again in the future.
Jonah is absolutely amazing with my 12 week old puppy. He sent updates throughout the day along with pictures. My puppy had a great time at his place. It was his first time being away from family & playing with other dogs. I will definitely be booking with him again.

A typical day
I prefer to view pet sitting as a dogs vacation. We go on plenty of walks. There are parks and a dog run near me. Also, I typically like to try to go to the beach/hiking with pups so they get some fresh air and can have a fun adventure! When I dog sit I try to emulate their normal lifestyle. Please let me know what a day in the life of your pup is like and I will do my best to replicate that. I also feel that as a guest in your house it is my duty to do daily chores; got some plants? I will water. Do you need the mail checked on? No problem.
