Pet care experience
I’ve always been around dogs. I am exceptionally good with high energy working dogs, I am super high energy and can generally ware a pooch out, I have pictures to prove it. I work well with dog because I’m ow how dogs are and they seem to always want my approval. I am also really good with dangerous dogs. I have boarded a few dogs that couldn’t be trusted around other dogs or children. I understand how their prey instinct works and know that. I also understand that sometimes they become part of the family and are loved but can’t be trusted.

Jon is the absolute best. He is so friendly and responsible and is the only person I truly trust with my two dogs when I need a sitter. When I leave, I am rest assured my home and fur babies are safe when he stays at my house with them. My dogs love Jon sooo much and get so excited when they get to spend time with him. I don’t even have to feel guilty about leaving them because I know they are going to have fun, get lots of love and snuggles, they are safe and in the best hands possible. If you get Jon as a dog sitter your furry loved ones will thank you❤️
Jon is my go to when I need a dog sitter/walker. I always can rely on him to get my pet a nice structured walk while I’m away for the day with work. If I’m leaving town and can’t bring my dog Jon is the first one I will call. Huge relief knowing my dog is in good hands when I'm busy working and not able to give them attention and exercise they need.

I follow the instructions of the parents on issues of feeding, treats, sleeping arrangements, and rules of the home. I cool with crating or can let the pooch sleep close. I’m pretty strict about feeding and I never give any dog food off my plate. I will feed a delicious doggy bag treat/meal (meat scraps, ect) if that is acceptable with the parents

A typical day
I like to go for walks and hikes. I also love that dogs are very curious about things and like to let them investigate their surroundings. I don’t spoil animals by any means unless you count petting and playing. I’m also down with dog parks if the pooch is a social animal

I’m a retire union carpenter and a ski bum that does handyman work on the side. I usually can have dogs with me on job sites. I also hike a lot and love hiking with dogs. I have pictures to prove it.
