Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for most of my life. I have had three different dogs in my family and have been relied upon to dog and cat-sit for friends and neighbors. Last year, I helped my roommates foster four different cats and gained much more experience with cats in general!

When I am meeting a new animal, regardless of whether it's a dog or cat, I make sure I let them come to me and get on their level to let them sniff me and get comfortable. I'm very enthusiastic about playing with animals because I know most animals love it, and it can really help relieve their anxiety about having a stranger in their space. I like to usually stay in the same room to make sure they don't misbehave and always ensure my food/beverage is out of reach, if I have any.
Information Jon W. would like to know about your pet
Obviously, things like medications or special allergies need to be communicated to me beforehand. But also, it's important for me to know if your dog has any sort of anxiety just so i can understand how best to handle them. I'm open to any and all special needs a dog may have! I just ask that the owner reach out ahead of time and let me know.
A typical day
I'll make sure they get to play with their favorite toy as much as they like, and I'll take them on a nice long walk. I like to let the dog(s) lead the way a lot of times, just so they can go where they're curious. Makes it more of an adventure for both of us!

I have a full time remote job that I can take with me anywhere that has WiFi and a power outlet! Basically, I'm free whenever you need me!
