My name is Jon. I am 60 years old and am a retired handyman. I figured out I'm not the type to sit and watch TV all day. I have always loved dogs and was devastated 2 years ago when my black lab Gracie passed away after a short battle with a rare immune disease. A couple of days ago, a lost black lab wandering the neighborhood ended up on my front porch. I had the best time caring for and playing with my new friend while waiting for her family to pick her up. I knew then where my next path would take me. I want to care for your dog when you can't. I think Gracie would like that! Update: It has been almost one year since signing up with this website. I have met so many new dog friends (and their owners) and have had the best time of my life caring for so many different kinds of dogs. Every dog is my favorite. I wish I had discovered my calling sooner. Thank you for allowing me to love your dogs.
