Pet care experience

I offer over 11 years of experience with medium to large size dogs. During this time I have worked with numerous breeds and feel comfortable interacting with any type of dog. A large part of the job is understanding what each dog needs and I enjoy connecting through play. My interest in providing a safe and quality experience for you and your dog really comes down to one word; trust. The most important thing I feel is necessary to provide an awesome experience for you and your pet is communication. I am open, receptive, and observant of needs. Jon was fantastic. We always go to Jon when we are out of town. This is the first time we used Rover to initiate the booking. With the added benefit of insurance through Rover, and their app, choosing Jon made it that much more simple. He kept me updated throughout her entire experience with photos and texts. She had a great time playing outside and meeting new neighbors. Would definitely recommend!

Jon was my wife and I's lifesavers on many occasions. Owning a dog and 2 cats makes it difficult to travel but Jon was always there to take on the responsibility of watching our animal kids last minute. He took care of our 3 animals as if they were his own - visiting multiple times a day, ensuring they aren't without food, water, play and attention. As a homeowner, a fellow dog sitter, and Detroiter, I would highly recommend Jon to anyone looking for walking, sitting, or boarding services.

Jon has been a wonderful doggy caregiver for my husky and malamute for many years, when he takes care of my dogs, I know they are in good hands, he gives them lots of attention and take them for walks or hikes and indulges my malamute in conversations.

I have know Jon for a while now. He has sat for friends dogs as well as my own. He is great with them. I have 2 dogs, large breed, and they love going to see uncle Jon! I really like that he gets them outside, like going to the park or on walks. Great sitter!

I don't currently offer my residence for overnight stays. However, it is fully fenced with fantastic spots to lay. Often friends without yards will come over to run their dog.

A typical day

I really enjoy walking/running to parks and trails. Play through fetch is also a big favorite of mine and I hope your pet's too! Other fun activities include training! Be sure to tell me if there's something you want me to reinforce while interacting and I'll be sure to.
