Pet care experience
Loving dog owners with years of Previous professional experience as dog walker/sitter. Recently moved back to Vermont but Alanna and I have been active sitters on Rover from our previous home in Idaho for many years with lots of repeat customers and great reviews. Our dog is friendly with all dogs and cats and we are glad to cater to whatever your pets needs may be. We love to get out to enjoy all the natural beauty around from river walks to long hikes or just chill at home. We can be available most days and nights so frequent potty breaks out in the yard are no problem. Extensive experience with medications and can even inject meds if need be. Our place or yours let us take care of your precious animals like they deserve. We are located right in Downtown Waterbury just off I89. 1/2 hour to both Sugarbush and Stowe resorts and 17 minutes to Bolton Valley.

Jon was great with our puppy! He was a great communicator and provided lots of updates. Our pup has a blast and was wiped out from her adventure!

Bruce had so much fun at Jon's home in Stowe. Jon kept him active through long hikes on the puppy path and lots of playtime with his dogs Stella and Cole. We highly recommend Jon and will use him again when we return to Stowe.
We had an excellent experience with Jon looking after our small pup, Cosmo. My husband and I had an AirBnb in Stowe (visiting from Boston) and booked Jon for a few hours one night so we could enjoy a nice dinner out by ourselves. He was on time, sent plenty of photos and videos, and Cosmo was totally tuckered out when we got home. Our small guy is high-energy and Jon had no problem playing fetch with him over and over (presumably for a long time!), taking him outside for a tinkle, and letting Cosmo nap beside him on the couch. We highly recommend Jon and will definitely re-book him when we visit Stowe again. Such a nice person and clearly a dog lover!

Love all dogs but please no fight starters or cat killers. Once in a while our Aussie can be aggressive with a new dog when she is being protective of her mom but we make sure the introduction is smooth and there’s never been a problem after that.
A typical day
Happy to take well trained or leashed guests on daily hikes and walks with my dog. We regularly hike in the forest or along the river, and interact with numerous local dogs. Or they are welcome to chill at home.

Availability
Between Alanna and myself we can be available most days and overnights to spend full time care with your buddies. If there will be work overlap between us we will be sure to let you know ahead of time if your pet will need to be left alone with our Aussie Stella and make sure that is ok with you.
