Pet care experience
Hi! We are Jon and Stephanie. One of the things that sets us apart is that when you book us, you get both of us, giving you more availability for us to love on your pet. Stephanie is home throughout the day, while Jon is home evenings and weekends (basically when not working). We make a great team! We have done dog and house sitting for a number of years, and enjoy it greatly. We love dogs, but we do not have any of our own at this time. We can offer your pet(s) a lot of love and look forward to doing so. We stick around town a lot, which means we are available most holidays. We are non-smokers. We can water your plants if needed, or take your dog to his/her vet/grooming appointments. We look forward to talking to you soon!

Jon & Steph were wonderful with Mallory! They kept me updated with detailed messages & pictures throughout their time with her. They made sure to make Mallory feel right at home by giving her lots of attention & cuddles & by sticking to her feeding & medication schedules. They live in a gated community so when they went out for walks there wasn’t much traffic going through & they have a fenced in front yard which was perfect for her to chill outside by herself. I would definitely book with them again!

Jon & Stephanie were GREAT!!! They met my dog before accepting the request which was perfect because that showed they wanted to really get to know her. I received pictures everyday letting us know how our Shuri was doing and adapting. I couldn’t be any happier with our pick and they will for sure always be our #1 pick.
I had a great experience booking with Jon and Steph. They were kind and patient with my pup. They sent photos every day and kept me in the loop on how he was doing. I look forward to booking with them knowing my furbaby will be safe and well cared for.

We have a fenced yard that your dog can wander around, explore, & sniff out the scents or they can cuddle up in the house with us. We strive to make sure your pup feels at home with us! If your pup(s) know how to use a doggy door, we have one that we can put up for their use. We try to understand some of the rules/guidelines you have at home & implement them here so your pet feels some consistency, which can help them in their transition with new people in a new environment. Please note: while we typically only book one dog family at a time, there can be instances where there is overlap of dogs staying here at the same time. We notify each pup owner about any overlap ahead of time, so they’re informed & comfortable. If your pup(s) do not tolerate other dogs, that is important to let us know.

We prefer dogs under 40 pounds, but it's not a deal breaker if they are a few pounds over. We prefer to not work with stereotypical aggressive breeds (i.e.; pit bulls, rottweilers, or doberman pinschers) in our home, but we promise, we don’t have anything against them! Things we like to know about your pet include: Are they fully house broken, do they know basic commands, do they bark/cry a lot, do they struggle with anxiety or any other emotional or physical needs that we should be aware of, and what is their favorite toy & activity? :)
A typical day
We’ll ask you if your dog has any favorite spots to visit/walk/play in. We will tailor each activity towards your dog’s preferences. We’ll play fetch, tug of war, chase, or just cuddle & make sure your dog feels loved. Our top priority is to keep your dog happy, feeling secure & loved.
