Pet care experience
Your pet is part of the family while in my home! My home is your pets home while they are here and I will accommodate each pet's specific need's. I ask that each pet owner bring over the essentials for each pet (for example: if the pet needs to be crated, has a specific bed, and their food, toys and medicine). After each visit to my home I do clean so the next visit your pet is staying in a clean, healthy environment. I can promise that your pet will be well taken care of as though he or she were mine. About this sitter: I have always wanted a career working with animals. My first friend was my dog, a German Shepherd mix named Boomer. I have worked for 10+ years pet sitting domestic animals, administered medicines, cared for special needs and also dog walked. I recently relocated back to California from Hawaii where I watched various cats and dogs on island while their parents worked. I cant put into words how much I love working with animals. They make you smile and are therapeutic. If you entrust me with your pet you and your pet wont be disappointed! Why I love dog sitting When I turned 3 years old my family presented me with a German Shepherd pup that we named Boomer. He was my very first friend and taught me unconditional love and loyalty. The day he passed was the most difficult of my life and to this day brings tears to my eyes. I cannot put into words how much I care for and love animals. They are therapeutic and innocent angels of love. I have pet sit for many close friends, co-workers and family members and most of the pets have been dogs of different sizes and breeds. They become part of my family and receive the highest in care from me. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medicines either orally or injections. I have experience with both. I am currently an active canine trainer for a Search And Rescue team and FEMA Disaster K9 co-handler. I also handle an explosive detection K9.

Jolynn is an extremely kind-hearted, amazing person who showed extra love to our dog, Uki. She even agreed to dogsit very last-minute, which was a big relief for us. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dogsitter, and would be glad to book her again and again.
Jolynn has great energy that my dogs related to immediately - they're usually nervous about being left somewhere, won't eat, etc. but they approached her and accepted her immediately. Jolynn sent pictures and status updates while I was away and really seemed to enjoy having my dogs in her home. When I went to get them they greeted me, then wandered off, not anxious and perfectly comfortable in their new home away from home. Jolynn took great care of them, and they came home happy. I feel good about my decision to hire her and would definitely leave my pets with her again.
Jolynn watched my dog while on vacation for more than a week. It was my first experience with having her as a sitter and would not hesitate to use her again! Milaia (our dog) didn't have any anxieties when we returned and was we'll take care of. Jolynn exceeded any expectations and put us at ease when a difficult situation arises and out loved pet has to be left behind. Thank you Jolynn for treating our pet like she was yours!

I like to have a meet and greet with the pet (dog) prior to sitting so the animal is comfortable with me in his or her home. I will care for any breed, as long as they are socialized.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I like to take the dogs to parks or the beach so they can run but that is at the discretion of their owners. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I like to suggest having the owner bring the dogs bed (if there is one) so the dog feels comfortable when sleeping. It depends on each dog and their comfort zones. Time I'll spend with your dog I will usually walk the dog(s) in the AM, then give them their meals, then rest or play, followed by a second walk, an evening meal (some owners feed once a day, others twice) and I will walk again before bed time. For other pets that do not normally need to go outside I will adhere to their owners specific requests, follow the meal plan and make sure to get in activity time each day. Time I'll spend with your dog I am open to spending as much time with the animal as it needs. This can be discussed at the meet and greet. Extra house-sitting services I am open to house sitting and dog walking.
