I moved to San Diego in May last year, and I just recently graduated from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). Right now, I am a prospective graduate student and with that I am hoping to put my earnings from Rover towards a graduate degree in clinical psychology. I do work another job, however, I usually have a very flexible schedule. Shoot me a message if you think I would be a great fit to help care for your pets!

Jolie is a literal angel! She rescued me last minute when another pet sitter backed out days before a trip. She took excellent care of my dog and was very communicative and flexible. She was also a great house guest! We adore her and will definitely be using her in the future!
Jolie was the best sitter I could have asked for! Leaving your house and pup in the hands of someone else is always a little nerve wracking but Jolie calmed those nerves right away. She went above and beyond with caring for my dog Pepper. She took her on walks, went to the beach, took her out for dessert, and even on hikes (and she made sure to keep me updated with pictures of all the activities). If you’re in need of a reliable and responsible pet sitter Jolie is definitely who you’re looking for. Coming home to a happy and healthy pup (and home!) is all you can ask for.
Jolie was the best, I would recommend her to any of my friends or colleagues! She is super nice and I felt comfortable leaving her with my two kittens the moment I met her! Jolie will be the first person we think of next time we need a sitter!
Jolie was amazing!! We met up twice before my trip to make sure our pups really got along. Turns out that they loved each other. She took such good care of my pup, they went to the dog beach, the dog park, and lots of walks. I got lots of updates and she was very responsive. I would absolutely recommend Jolie and will be booking her again for my next trip.

In your home, I can actively play with your dogs, walk them, drive them to dog parks and/or beaches, and bathe them! As a dog lover, I am extremely attentive to their needs and focus on making them the happiest pups while their humans are away! Now, cats… don’t get me started on cats. I am a ginormous cat lover!! I understand they require a little more mellow care, so I can snuggle with them when needed but also play with them when they have bursts of energy. I will also feed your pets however they are typically served, whether that be solely dry kibble/cat food, canned, or homemade food. I plan to take care of your pets in the same way they receive love and care from their owners! I typically prefer watching animals in my own home, because it seems to fit a little bit better with my schedule, however, I have watched plenty of animals in others homes as well. The only caveat is that my corgi, Sunny, must be able to stay in your home. He is such an easy-going, mellow and loving guy who gets along with every dog and cat. With that, I love to do meet and greets with Sunny beforehand just to make sure both him and I are a perfect fit! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Information that I love ahead of time is knowing if your dog likes to be around other dogs, or prefers their alone time. This can help me tailor my daily activities to the pup and make sure they have the best time possible. I also like to know if bringing my corgi around is okay as well! Other info that helps me are things like how and what your pet is fed, any specific needs are behaviors I need to look out for, and certain schedules I need to stick to for the pet. The more information, the better, so don’t hesitate to ask about anything!
A typical day
A typical day spent with a doggo includes at least one walk, typically in the morning. This is a great way to burn some energy for both myself and the dog, which is why daily walks are something I always look forward to! I also make sure to pack the ChuckIt for all my fetch-loving dogs out there. Other things in the day can include cuddles, going for drives, hitting Petco to pick out a new toy or treat, and if your dog is a Puppachino fan like mine, we can definitely make sure to swing by Starbucks ?

Availability
Over my college years, as well as growing up, I have taken care of both dogs and cats other than my own. Besides the basics (bathing, feeding, walking, etc.), I aim to structure my day around the animal, so there are always lots of trips to the dog beach (which is only two blocks away from me!), parks, plus treats, car rides, and hikes for not just my own dog, but yours as well. I have three healthy pets of my own: two kitties and a corgi. My three boys are all between two and three years old. Growing up with a veterinarian as a mother, I was taught how to properly care for all animals and that is what I’m hoping to do through Rover!
