Pet Communicator & Healer

Pet care experience

My husband and I had a rescue Terrier for 10 years. She passed away in 2019, after nursing her sudden health conditions for month's. We used Rover for her boarding/daycare because she was sensitive, had isolation distress and abandonment issues. We wanted her to be comfortable in a home environment vs a busy kennel. Can you guess which one is her in the pictures? We love dog's! I love people who love their pet's! I love helping people with their pet's! We wanted to foster but sitting is a better fit because it's so FUN! Losing our pup was devastating, some day we will have a pup again. I’ve been dog sitting with Rover since Feb'20 but I’ve done dog/cat sitting for year’s (WAY before Rover). Taking care of pet's are my priority as this is one of my purposes! Because I'm a Pet Communicator, there might be things I notice about your pet that I may bring to your attention. We can work on those things for your pet's with a session, or Reiki Healing during your pets stay! For boarding/daycare: I figure out their play style, how much attention they like, like being outside, what their personality is and what lights them up! Their quirks make me laugh! If you tell me their routine I will do my best to emulate it (but not guaranteed), cuddles and all! My goal with your pet's are to build a relationship/bond, make them feel comfortable and give them extra attention (if they want!). *Let me know if you have special request's: likes to go for car rides, stop for a pup cup, peruse the park, etc. I will also walk your dog’s during boarding/daycare (weather, preference and temperament). Pics/updates are provided to you throughout each service. I'm a puparazzi so get ready. Pics are not made public on my bio for exclusivity purposes. *New Clients by Referral MEET/GREET: This is required before any services are booked. These are around 30 min. Open Boarding meet/greets may be requested also, to meet other dog's before their stay. Please make sure your pet's profile is filled out and current. DAYCARE: Monday-Friday: Drop off time starts around 7AM and 6:30PM pick up time is preferred. Timing is flexible, depending on circumstance, price may be adjusted. DAYCARE/BOARDING: You may request your dog’s be the only during their stay. This is the most requested/booked service! Prices listed below… PRICING: 1. Open Boarding: $75 a night if you are completely open to having other dog’s during their stay, $45 for second dog. 2. Exclusive Boarding: One dog is $150 for the first night, then $100 each night after. Two dog’s $200 for the first night, $150 each night after. BOARDING: Hours may vary. IDEAL: Dog's that are chill, like to play, go on walk’s and sleep through the night. DEAL-BREAKER'S: Aggressiveness, Urinating/Incontinence/Defecating in home, Excessive Barking/Digging. *Dog’s that cannot be left alone at all, depending on duration of stay, may not be considered. WALKING: I cannot walk a dog over 70 lbs, *(unless they do not pull/well behaved). I have a ticket into Rover on why it's listed that I can take a dog over 70 lbs, my apologies. HOUSESITTING: Referral only! I would like your dogs to stick to their routine as much as possible, but not guaranteed, and each dog is different. We can discuss more in our meet/greet but there may be other Rover dog's present during their stay, depending on your preference. We have a six foot/privacy fenced in yard and walking distance to a walking path. My husband will be around to interact with your dog's as well. Ask me what else might be available for your pet's after your stay is complete!

Jolene and her husband took such a great care of our little Ella. She sent pictures and keep us posted on how she was doing. I would recommend Jolene to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and reliable dog sitter.

Jolene took great care of our two doodles. Lots of walks and play time. She asked lots of questions before we left, to ensure she understood our dogs needs, schedules and temperaments. We are so happy we found Jolene and will definitely ask her to take care of our precious pups again!

Jolene and Joel were the perfect fit for my Georgie while I was on an extended vacation. I felt complete at ease knowing she was in good hands and that they would take time and get to know her and work with her regular daily routines. She got lots of play time and I got lots of pictures so I knew how much fun my girl was having! I will absolutely recommend them and I hope to have Georgia stay with them again in the future.

Thank you again for another great “staycation” for our Henley boy — he always comes home spoiled and happy in all the best ways!

Our home is an ideal alternative to kennel because some dogs don’t do well at a kennel, or have separation anxiety/isolation distress, etc. As an owner, knowing your dog’s are receiving individual care, you may feel more comfortable about having to leave them—With us! Also, there is less risk of transmission of illness between pets since your dog's will be here exclusively, if preferred.

A typical day

There is a walking trail near our home and we have a Privacy/Fenced in yard for safe play. I hope to figure out your dog’s personality so I can play their games with them, as well as playing with other Rover dog's...unless they just want to lounge.
