Experienced Pet Lover!

Pet care experience

I have recently attained my animal science office assistant certificate and have experience caring for animals of varying species, size, and attitude! I have previously cared for small animals, cats, dogs, reptiles, poultry, and other miscellaneous livestock. I am comfortable giving oral medication as needed, and am happy to follow any special instruction to keep the tails wagging!

I am so thankful to have Jolene walk my pups once a week! They love it, and it helps me out so much. She is amazing with them and I could not be happier!

Safety, trust & environment

Pet sitting can bring great stress to the animal being watched, who is introduced to a completely foreign situation. Addressing the stress faced by the animal being cared for is essential to me, as I want them to feel comfortable as possible. This may include utilizing a crate for privacy when eating, introducing new enrichment toys, or enjoying a supervised play time!

Information Jolene R. would like to know about your pet

Before pet-sitting I would like to know about any behavioral, physical, or medical boundaries I should be aware of. This includes signs of aggression towards other animals or humans, any physically limiting activities to avoid, and any known medical conditions to watch for.

A typical day

Having toy-driven dogs of my own, I enjoy introducing the dogs I watch to a 30 foot leash and the positive reinforcement of play time. Finding the drive of a specific dog is essential in training, and will help the owner in the future.
