Raising $ 2 help Displaced Animals

Pet care experience

Hello my name is Jolanda and I have over 14 years of experience working with cats and dogs; I have worked in an animal shelter, animal hospital, pet care center, and have loving pets of my own. Since a young girl I have always loved and had a passion for taking care of animals. Some people think pets are just animals but they are more than that ; They have so much character and provide so much love on our lowest days. While you are out of town or need care I make sure to provide them with TLC whether its having play time in the backyard , reading them a book, allowing them to see my embarrassing dance moves, or providing butt rubs(what pet doesn't love that haha ) . I am on Rover to use my skills of loving animals and also raise money for a great cause ! While I hand out meals , especially in the Durham area there are a lot of strays. Also there are people going through financial hardship that can't keep their pets any longer. And if you don't know at this current time a lot of shelters don't have enough space for new fur babies. So some people have no choice and either have to leave their pet behind in the street or live on the streets with their furbaby. Beartha is working on being the in-between and we are trying to raise $8,000 to be able to rent a house that has a fenced backyard. With this house we will be able to pull animals from the shelter so that can open room for them to intake more fur babies and we can foster them so they can find a furever home. We can't do this without you ! to donate please visit Beartha website Read more about the non-profit below : I am the founder of Beartha (501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization) our mission statement is to promote health and wellness for people/animals through community, support, and resources. We do this by offering: Vegan Goodie Bags/Pet Food on Wheels Program Every day in Durham/Wake County; 10% of the people we feed have pets, so it is always good to make sure we have items for the furbaby too) resources to help find temp stays, shelters, and more We hold monthly health and wellness discussions online Volunteer opportunities to lend a helping hand to other organizations that align with our mission statement Funtivities to allow individuals to be around likeminded people and be theirselves we gadly accept donations also , pet food , treats , pet beds, hygiene products(humans) , office supply , cleaning supply , pet toys , canned goods , pet clothes , coats/jackets, and other clothes. I appreciate the help and can't do this without you. IG beartha919 Beartha .org Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on what is going on at Beartha.

Jolanda is THE BEST! Not only does she feed my cats and change the litter box, but she also cares. She sends me photos of her playing with my cats and puts music on to keep them company while she’s away. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies!

Jolanda took amazing care of our little zoo (three dogs and two cats)! We have a rescue chihuahua who is pretty nervous and anxious, and this was our first time having someone take care of him so we were nervous. Jolanda has experience working with shelter dogs and understands how challenging they can be - she did a great job managing our little gremlin and also loving on the rest of them. I’m very happy to have found a sitter we feel comfortable with and that all the animals love!
