My roommate introduced me to dog walking as a job a few years ago. I always talked about my love for animals, my family dog that I had growing up and cared for, and how much I enjoy being active. Boom! Dog walking became a perfect match! As I have gained more experience dog walking I also see that there is so much more to it than meets the eye. Dogs need love, attention, structure and rules, playtime and activity. I walked over six dogs a day Monday through Friday for upwards to a year and a half and even had loads of overnight sitting jobs, and always had the best time.
