Johnny May is a dear friend and fellow missionary of mine, who has a genuine and caring heart, for both animals and people. Before we met about 3 years ago, he was at the time working at a therapeutic horseback riding farm, in which he assisted in barn maintenance, care of the horses, interacted with children and visitors and helped with the overall ambiance of kindness, care and friendliness. After moving to North Carolina a short while after we met, he was instrumental in many ways in assisting me and my two horses at the time, in my small horseback riding lesson and therapeutic riding business, Cait's Riding Academy. Johnny lives a trend of 'going above and beyond' what is asked of him, and with a smile on his face. Many times I would arrive at my barn, having found it thoroughly mucked, raked, swept, organized and/or spider webs cleared, and the horses looking happy to see me. :) Johnny also enjoys the company of his own cats, and brought one down with him from his previous home in Ohio, when he moved (and I've enjoyed occasional, entertaining videos he's sent to me of him!). Johnny has also joined me on many walks with my dog, and I know would enjoy walking her for me at the 'drop of a hat'. I can tell that Johnny thoroughly enjoys being around not only people but also God's creatures, the wonderful animals He's given us to enjoy and care for, and while I could say so much more, I will conclude by saying I would highly recommend Johnny as a caretaker or walker of your furry friend(s). Johnny is wonderful with animals! He rescued two kittens and brought them up together, moving them with him half way across the country with him. He is awesome with my dog Frank, and has taken care of him for me when I've gone on vacation. I would trust him with any pets!
