Greetings Fur Parents, I am John Truitt aka “TheDogBFF,” I am founder of TheDogBFF. My company hosts fun, healthy, pet friendly incentives and activities for all of the dog lovers and pet owners in our region. I’m a genuine animal lover at heart, and I’ve dedicated my entire life to taking care of animals, dogs in particular. This has been my calling!

John stayed at my place over New Years and watched my pups! He did a great job, made sure to send me photos and videos and very responsive. Very personable and nice guy too! He left my house is amazing shape and cleaned up after he left. Would definitely recommend!

John is so sweet and caring! Really loves dogs and even brings a water bottle on walks.
My three month old puppy took to John immediately during our meet and greet. John is one of the kindest, most conscientious persons I've ever met. I was especially impressed that over the course of his time with Paddy, he taught him to walk on a leash and play "fetch." He cared for my home as if it were his own. As a result, I had no reason to worry about either while I was out of state. I can recommend John without hesitation, and I will not hesitate to book him again.

Inside my place, I use crates to comfortably house the dogs, unless they are house trained and allowed to roam my place. I have extra pillows/dogbeds/supplies that my client’s pups can use. I always have a variety of Dog treats to reward the pups for good behavior and I’m a distributor of the Portable Pet Cups just in case any fur parents don’t have the proper tools to keep their dogs cool this Summer!

Are the dogs human friendly? Dog friendly? What tactics should I use when initiating the first walk, once I enter your home? Any special requirements for any dogs? What’s your typical routine everyday with your dog/s Is your dog house trained? Does your dog need to be crated when inside my place?
A typical day
I will take the dogs on a 1 mile walk at the local community park or neighborhood if it is appropriate. I specialize in keeping dogs active by providing them with numerous activities. Games of fetch, tug of war, some basic training courses, but overall attention, Dog’s will definitely be entertained their entire stay with me.
