My wife and I have had a pet dog the majority of the 42 years we have been married. They have been part of our family until they left this earth. Two of the dogs we had to put to sleep with many tears flowing. My preference right now is dog walking, but would be able to take a dog overnight or during the day. Both my wife and I had dogs during our youth. I mention my wife because she is very much a dog lover and would be involved. I believe I stated I would want only one dog at a time, but could go for two.
