Pet care experience
I have taken care of pets (dogs, cats fishes, etc.) via Rover and/or through friends over the past five years. I have been a dog walker, pet sitter, and volunteer at shelters for over the past five years and I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and puppies. Initially started sitting to deal with anxiety, now I thoroughly enjoy meeting and connecting with our small friends. I recently moved to New York, but I have clients have been in Los Angeles and Boston. I have a lot of time on my hands because of the pandemic so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals aka fur babies.

John was fabulous! I had just moved to New York and he helped me tremendously with my big dog. He was even nice enough to come by beforehand and meet me and my dog. He’s got great, positive energy, and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!
Wonderful sitter! Very friendly, and gave our cats plenty of attention. Administered medication to our elderly rabbit. He even went the extra mile to tidy up cages. All our animals were well cared for!
I am so happy I found John! He took such great care of my 2.5 year old, energetic dog for 9 days!! That's a long time to care for someone else's animal. He was so caring and compassionate and patient with me as this was my first time leaving my dog with a stranger for such a long period of time. The first few days were tough for me but he sent me pictures and videos. After that, I felt confident that Simon was well taken care of and I didn't need to worry. When I got home and dropped off John, Simon cried and tried to jump out of the car after him. Safe to say they had a great time together! John also left the house spotless! Thank you, John!
Our family needed puppy care in a crunch! I was pulled into work and needed to be away from our 9-week old puppy and really wanted someone who would not only puppy sit but would take care of our baby with love. John was quick in my outreach and was ready to step in and help within 24 hours. We did a "meet and greet" the day prior with John and our puppy and they hit it off immediately, I knew instantly that he'd be a great fit for our family. John was prompt the day of care, so courteous and attentive to our puppy's needs. I got the cutest pictures through out the day with updates on how the puppy was doing with eating, sleeping and playing. When I came home the puppy was so comfortable with John it took him a minute to acknowledge ME! LOL. I will definitely repeat booking with John and would love to have him as a reliable trustworthy sitter. Thank you John!

A typical day
After speaking with owner, I will find some activities that can physically and mentally challenge our furry-friend(s). If they need any special or specific feeding or potty instructions, I will work that into their schedule. Depending on the dog, walks, diets and play time is incorporated in their routine.

Availability
I work remotely and have scheduled times around sitting, walking, or feeding clients pets. Also, I live close to a park which allows for walks and room for play/ interaction with other furry-friends. I also prioritize getting a routine structured for our furry friends, so they feel comfortable with the change. It also helps the owners feel at ease.
