A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: My first career was in corporate America working as a Branch Operation Manager at AT&T. I then transitioned to the educational field, teaching at both the elementary and college levels. We then moved from NY to the south after 20 years in the education field. Having completed a Doctorate and Board Certification in Counseling, I started my own counseling practice.

We have three very friendly dogs and a large fenced-in yard for your pups to play in. They will get outdoor exercise several times a day. They will also have complete run of our home; we place no restrictions on where they can go, short of not allowing them to sleep in our bed.

Any behavioral issues, and how they relate to people and other dogs. Has there been trauma in their life in the recent past and if so, under what circumstances? If your pup requires diapers during his/her stay with us, or pees or poops in the house, there will be a $15/day charge for that service. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs under 2 years old are considered puppies and will be billed accordingly.
A typical day
Any one-on-one activity with a dog to build a relationship. I try to spend quality time, one on one with a dog away from distractions and competing activities in order to build relationships.

I have been a dog owner for 20 years and have boarded and assisted with shelter dogs for 13 years. I am also a Certified Dog Trainer. Why not train your furry friend while boarding. My wife provides professional grooming. Looking forward to providing service for your dog and will also provide lots of TLC! John did an amazing job dog sitting my two dogs! From the moment we met, he was warm, reliable, and clearly great with animals. He took the time to get to know each of their personalities and routines, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. He sent regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated, and it was clear my dogs were happy and cared for.
We have a 6 year old Cavapoo that had only stayed with family or friends, so Rover was a big step and we were very pleased. John was of immediate interest because of the reviews and his experience with dogs. Lulu was with him 6 days and adjusted well to his home. John was so conscientious about keeping in touch with a quick text or picture which I really appreciated. I would use him again any time.
Bogey was well taken care of, and I received lots of pics. They are great sitters and we highly recommend them.
