I've been around animals my whole life and have been a pet dad for the past 16 years to my own babies. I currently have two sweet, loving cats that get along with all animals and one boxer who loves when friends bring over their dogs for him to play with. I'm the friend that all my friends ask to housesit, pet-sit, or plant-sit because they all know how much I love my pets and respect the trust that they give me. It's not an easy choice to leave your pets with someone (especially if you don't know them) so I don't take it lightly. I've watched my friend's rabbit while she's out of town for a couple days or kept my friend's dog for a month while they went on an extended vacation. It brings meaning to my day to care for these beautiful animals.

My dog was returned to me in obviously high spirits. He usually doesn’t eat much when he’s away from home, but he ate almost all the food I provided. This means to me that he was comfortable at John’s! John was easy going and communicative. I would recommend, and I will use John’s services again.
Coquito had a blast
John was great with my Cooper and took good care of him while I went out of town. I will definitely use him again!
The most important thing for me is to see my baby happy when it comes to picking him up, because that means he had a good time. I like to be kept informed if my gunner ate, slept well and I love receiving photos. I had all that with John and I highly recommend it!!

A typical day
I have a fenced back yard and lots of dog toys for fetch. My dog also loves to run laps around the yard with other friendly dogs. I take my dog on daily walks so I could easily take yours with us.

Availability
Since I have both a dog and cat, I know what it takes to properly care for them and I will honor all commitments made. I feed my animals twice a day and let my dog out once every 2 hours or so. I also take him on daily walks around my neighborhood.
