Pet care experience
I love dogs and cats, I've worked at a dog groomer in Botswana, I've taught horse riding in South Africa and England, I've volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Botswana, and kept different species of birds (including chickens, geese, peacocks, turkeys, quails, pigeons, cockatiels and finches) and fish as a young adult on our small holding in Botswana. I'm an animal lover all round and my friends call me the dog whisperer, which speaks to my natural feel and tact with animals. I've looked after people's dogs, cats, horses, parrots, rabbits, chickens and fish for years. I've recently moved to England and I'm hoping to get some quality pet time here too!

Our dog had a great time with John-Rob, he was taken on lots of walks and had lots of company. It was comforting to receive the daily photos of their activities and reassuring to see that our dog was in safe hands and to have updates. From the photos and videos we could tell that John-Rob is a genuine dog lover and couldn’t recommend him enough. We wouldn’t hesitate to choose him again when we go away!
Maisie had such a good day at day care with John-Rob I received lots of photos of their adventures throughout the day and John-Rob is very accommodating to drop off and pick up times. Maisie’s already looking forward to her next stay 😊

A typical day
I'm an active person so on a typical day I go out for at least one walk or run, which I'd happily take your dogs with me for, depending on their needs and preference. I'm lucky to live in a spacious, leafy neighbourhood in Beckenham with easy access to multiple parks and green spaces where I can take your dogs for a good time and to burn off some energy. Beckenham Place Park is perfect for dogs, and only 10 minutes walk away from me!

I work full time, but from home, so I'll have plenty of time to look after and walk your pets. I'm lucky to live in a leafy neighbourhood in Beckenham, where there are ample short and long walks to be had.
