Pet care experience
My family has always had dogs my entire life. They have almost exclusively been rescue dogs that had special needs. This experience has given me so much empathy and patience for these animals. I believe they deserve the world for being such faithful life-companions for generations to us humans. I hope to meet your companion and experience the joys of their unique personality, even if only just for a walk. :-) +Fully Vaccinated, still masking indoors/groups. +Mostly travel by E-Bike around the city. +Waste bags are 100% biodegradable/compostable. +If treats allowed, organic and sustainable products.
Reviews
John is a true animal lover. We owned an incredibly high-needs rescue dog who absolutely fell in love with him. She had been severely abused by other owners for the first 2-3 yrs of her life so by the time we got her, she was very fear-aggressive with everything from people, other dogs, food, hands, pointing, you name it, it was a trigger for her. She bit a lot as well, but with John's patience and empathy he showed when training her, she was able to have a wonderful and functional life which was previously a concern from agency we got her from. He truly has a special way to earn the trust of even the most damaged dogs which is a very difficult thing to do. Thank you!
John has always been a friend to all my dogs, throughout my life, even if they didn't want any new friends at first. He has also been a loving and proud owner most recently of his dog Janet, a rescue, and while she sadly has left this world she had been fortunate enough to find an individual that would take the extra precautions, care, and love needed to be coaxed back into a happy and meaningful life.

My wife and I no longer care for a dog but will again in the near future. To our heartbreak, our little Janet passed away somewhat suddenly on Jan 11. 2021. Our yards are entirely enclosed. A small grassy front yard and a small-medium backyard/garden. The yard itself is not comprised of wide open grass/field but has space for medium sized animals to relax in. Otherwise, we have a 700sq ft home with which to provide basic domestic care if needed.
Information John R. would like to know about your pet
Any physical ailments of note such as breathing concerns or muscular contraints. I want to provide a great experience that your dogs physical comfort level will determine.
A typical day
My personal local favorites would be Discovery or Ravenna Park. I love sharing beach and forest adventures with the dogs. Anywhere that provides a physical and explorative stimulation.
