Hi, I'm John and I love dogs! I grew up with a Labrador, German Shepherd, and Dachshund, but have spent time around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Fourteen years with a 70 lb. black lab named Libby has given me PLENTY of experience with large, high-energy dogs. Due to my busy career and occasional weekend travel, I'm not in a position to own a dog myself right now. Fortunately, I get to keep dogs for friends and family from time to time. I miss having dogs around I'm hoping that Rover can help me scratch the itch! Dog puns... I live in downtown Minneapolis and available most weekdays after 5:00 pm and some weekends for dog walking, sitting, or house visits. Let me know how I can help you and your pup!

John was great! He watched our pittie mix for a long weekend. We were nervous about leaving her with a new sitter after being with her every day did the last year, but she immediately looked comfortable and happy to meet him which made us feel more at ease. John was very responsive and provided updated through the weekend. Will definitely book again!
10/10 would recommend John & his wife!! You can tell they know dogs well and have a lot of experience. My dog has severe separation anxiety, among other quirks and she did great with them. I know was surprised tbh but they had no issues and she came home her happy self. I will be booking again!
Absolutely 5 stars! John was terrific with my dog Lucy. He made sure she was well taken care of, he took special care making sure her “special needs” were met and monitored, and we even got tons of pics of our pup while on vacation and plenty of communication and updates. Thank you John!!
John has been walking my dog for several months now. He is great! He's consistent and reliable. and my dog ADORES him. She hears him approaching our door and her tail starts wagging a mile a minute. I have used other apps to engage dog walkers with very disappointing results. The walkers I book on that other service tend to cancel at the last minute. John's reliability is very important to me because I am disabled. When the outside temperature goes below a certain level, the batteries freeze and I can't take my dog outdoors. With John walking my dog, I don't have to worry about her kidneys or her well-being. I recommend him without reservation.

A typical day
I live close to the Mississippi River and the Greenway trails that run along it. Whether your dog prefers walking, jogging, or swimming, I'm happy with any of those. There are also multiple dog parks within short driving distance.
