My family has been caring for multiple dogs since I was a young one. Your dog will receive lots of attention and will not just have a "place to stay" which is what many kennels offer. While I may charge more than rover.com recommended fees, it's a lot lower than a kennel and your dog which be treated like a member of the family rather than an inmate.
