Used to foster dogs from Humane Society of West Michigan, willing to walk dogs after 6 pm on week days and after 12 pm on weekends. Will work on manners of the dog while going for walks. I've owned dogs from miniature dachshunds to Greyhounds to Great Dane mixes. I am comfortable around all sizes of dogs and all breeds. I most recently had a Shepard pit bull mix. I am no long able to own dogs and want to get my walking fix with your dog. I am willing to take dogs for long walks (hour+) or short potty walks. Willing to play fetch if a park is within walking distance and dog is trained for such activities, also willing to work on recall practices on a lead.

I grew up constantly going over to John's house. During this time they always had at least 4+ healthy happy dogs (and 0 unhealthy, unhappy dogs, of course!). He has grown up around dogs his whole youth, and has carried this passion into his adult life as well. In addition to his own dog, John has been fostering for the past several years, which showcases his general love for dogs, not just for his own. In addition to a lifetime of caring for dogs, John is also a stand-up person. He communicates well and treats both humans and canines with patience and respect. You won't find a better dog walker/caretaker out there, I guarantee it.
John has been a dog owner most of his life. He grew up with the responsibility of taking care of his families dogs and that is a responsibility he never took lightly. In his adult life I can attest to the fact that he has communicated with, taken care of, and raised not only his own dog but a number of foster dogs that he looked after over a period of 3 or so years. If I was to leave town and need someone to look after my own pet then John would be the first person I would think of to make sure that my Genevieve was taken care of. He would be perfect for anyone looking for someone to watch their own companion, whether that is for as brief a time as taking him/her for a walk or making sure everything is okay over a longer stretch of time. John is perfect for Rover and I’m sure he will make many dog owners very happy with the care that will be given to their companions.
